Economic history: weight standard
Cyme/Aiolis, tetradrachm (stephanophoric),2nd c. BC, SNG FM Leake and General 4312
Following Alexander’s example most of his successors’ coinages followed the Attic weight standard, which became a kind of general standard used also for Asian tetradrachms with laurel, called stephanophorics.
