Shan Kuang discovered art conservation while studying for a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Yale University. After graduating in 2011, she worked for one year at Yale University Art Gallery as a postgraduate associate in the conservation department. She is currently a first-year student on the postgraduate course Conservation of Easel Paintings at the Hamilton Kerr Institute, where her studies are generously supported in full by a King's College Studentship, the Cambridge Overseas Trust, and a private grant from Mr. Bill Weiller.
