On Saturday 11th October more than 100 visitors took part in Drawing Together, a collaborative drop in event run with students from Anglia Ruskin School of Illustration.
Education staff and Illustration students were on hand throughout the day to offer advice and support to budding artists young and old alike.
This online gallery features photos from the day and of the finished mural.
Visitors to the museum were encouraged to find inspiration from the weird and wonderful collection of wild beasts and animals lurking in the ceramics galleries and hidden in paintings. They were also invited to add their drawing to our drawing gallery in the main courtyard and to browse through a selection of artist’s sketchbooks for ideas and inspiration.
