This artist contributed two miniatures to the second campaign: the Adoration of the Magi (fol. 242r) and St Claude (fol. 243r). He is named after the eponymous image he painted in the first volume of Philip the Good’s copy of the Chroniques de Hainaut (Brussels, Bibliothèque royale de Belgique, MS 9242, fol. 75r).

Adoration of the Magi (prayer to the Magi)

This 15th-century miniature was painted by the Master of the Coronation of Ursus. It is one of only two large miniatures added during the second campaign.
