The Peterborough Psalter
Collation
Description and Contents
The manuscript has 27 quires. Most consist of ten leaves, although some have eight and others six.
The full-page miniature of the Crucifixion (fol. 12r) with the Beatus initial on the reverse, was painted on a separate bifolio that is thicker than the parchment used for the text pages. The Easter Table (fol. 10r), which is blank on the reverse, was also painted on a thicker, separate bifolio.
