Inspired by At the Dressmaker's, we sewed a scarf for our teddy. We used scraps of old material and we tried out different types of stitching to make our scarf.
The first stitch we tried, on one end of the scarf, was the ladder stitch. If you want a challenge you can use this stitch to hide your sewing in a seam, like shown here.
Then we tried the whipstitch on the other end. which goes over the top of the material.
Along the long edge of the scarf we used a running stitch.
