Inviting expressions of interest from postdoctoral researchers for early career fellowships

Our curators, conservators, digital humanities researchers, heritage science and learning specialists are hosted within a vibrant research environment. The Fitzwilliam and the Hamilton Kerr Institute (HKI) are keen to bring in different perspectives that build on our research, and to host postdoctoral researchers.

In light of this ambition, the Museum is keen to invite enquiries from potential applicants for a range of funded postdoctoral programmes, including but not limited to the British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowships, Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships.

We are looking for individuals with research interests that align with the following themes, where they draw upon the Fitzwilliam’s collections:

We also welcome applications which involve working across various University of Cambridge departments, museums, collections and networks, including the Centre for Visual Culture, the Research & Collections Programme and CRASSH

We very much welcome early discussions with researchers who are interested in this opportunity. Please contact our Research Facilitator, Jo Vine, who will put you in touch with a relevant researcher, check your eligibility and can support an application.
