Front of House Host Cover (Temporary Assignment) during Gold of the Great Steppe exhibition, £10 per hour, up to 31.5 hours per week

We are looking for team players with excellent people skills, a commitment to providing an engaging and exciting visitor experience and a passion for the museum.
You will be the first point of contact for visitors to the Fitzwilliam Museum and will be responsible for providing an excellent welcome, helping our Box Office team and telling visitors more about the collection. We welcome a wide and diverse audience from local school groups and museum aficionados to visiting scholars and tourists from all over the world, who all have different needs and expectations when visiting the museum.
You will ensure high standards of visitor experience while monitoring the collection and remaining aware of any risks to the safety of people or objects. You will assist with visitor flow through our temporary exhibitions and maintain visitor adherence to any COVID-related guidelines.
As part of this assignment, you will be required to work as part of a seven-day rota which includes weekend working. There will also be a requirement to provide cover for evening and other out-of-hours events.
