We are looking for an energetic team of creative producers to join us for a new project at The Fitzwilliam Museum to explore the themes of sex, power, and gender in Venus and Mars, a painting by 15th century artist, Sandro Botticelli.
As a creative producer on this project you will:
· Work together to explore how we experience art in museums.
· Get behind-the-scenes access to Botticelli’s Venus and Mars.
· Co-curate an event at the Museum with a team of other young creative producers on the project.
· Learn new skills, share, and test your ideas.
· Work with museum staff and local artists.
· Find out about creative careers in culture, the arts, museums, and heritage.
· Receive a bursary of £120 for your input and ideas. (We can also fund your travel if necessary).
· This project will inform a PhD study as part of research initiative exploring young peoples’ experiences of art in museums.
