In collaboration with Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts and Cambridge AntiRacism Forum.
Throughout the Museum, 6.30 - 9pm
In response to our exhibition 'Glenn Ligon: All Over The Place', students from several of the CSVPA courses including Fashion, Graphics, Fashion Branding and Communication and more, will be exhibiting their works throughout the galleries alongside the artist's interventions. Amongst the armour in gallery 31, make sure to have your photograph taken in front the students' unique backdrop.
Seminar room, 6.30 - 9pm
Drop into our informal ideas workshop and check out a series of presentations, panels, conversations and more happening throughout the evening. Explore the themes of the exhibition – such as the social, cultural and political constructions of race – through the lens of our everyday experiences and the legacy of colonialism and transatlantic enslavement. Led and facilitated by Cambridge AntiRacism Forum, with contributions from Dr Isabelle Higgins and students from the Sociology Society.
