Gift a Friends membership to friends and loved ones so they can enjoy unlimited free entry to all exhibitions, exclusive events and discounts and join a community connected by a shared love of culture, art and ideas.  

Each membership helps ensure the Museum and our collection are here for everyone long into the future.  

Our Friends enjoy a range of benefits including:

• Priority booking for select events 
• 10% discount in our Courtyard Kitchen café
• 10% discount in our Courtyard, pop-up and online shops*

Gift a Friend Individual membership for one person or gift a Friends Joint membership for two people living at the same address and they can both enjoy the benefits. You can even gift our Friend + Guest package and they can bring along a different guest every time they visit our exhibitions!   

Once they have activated their membership, they will receive a unique Friends’ membership card in the post. For Friends Joint, each person receives their own card. 

Order physical gift packs by 16 December for Christmas delivery. Digital cards are delivered instantly and ready to use straight away.

How it works

• When you buy a gift membership online, we’ll email you a gift certificate number along with instructions to activate the account.  
• Once you’ve shared these with the recipient, they will have six months to activate it.
• When the recipient activates their account, we’ll send them a membership welcome pack along with their membership card(s) in the post.
