Rebecca Kilner has been Professor of Evolutionary Biology in the Department of Zoology at the University of Cambridge since 2013, and Director of the University’s Museum of Zoology since 2019. Her research investigates how social behaviour evolves and how it contributes to subsequent evolution. She also co-leads a new strategic research initiative within the University that will facilitate and promote interdisciplinary approaches to tackling key societal challenges using collections-based research. Rebecca was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 2021.
