Curatorial

This department is the Museum’s engine for ideas around collections research, displays, acquisitions and other projects. Bringing together researchers with deep specialist knowledge of objects and artworks, the team undertakes collaborative research and innovative projects that seek to answer critical questions of relevance to our audiences and wider society. They work closely with other Fitzwilliam Museum, University of Cambridge and external researchers, particularly through Collections-Connections-Communities (Strategic Research Initiative) and Cambridge Visual Culture.
